The goal of the project is to develop methods and tools for the automated synthesis of runtime security monitors for distributed applications of industrial processes. The monitor will detect computational and false data injection attacks, combining verification techniques for computational attacks and fault diagnosis techniques for dynamic systems in order to detect false data injection attacks.

VIRTUOUS is a virtual tongue made by an integrated computational framework able to screen food for natural ligands targeting taste receptors. The proposed intelligent algorithm, by integrating drug discovery techniques, machine learning classifiers, algorithms for big data, cloud computing, and experimental data will predict the organoleptic profile of a specific food based on its chemical composition.
2021 - 2022 / Industrial Systems Institute (Athena RC) / EU funded under Interreg ADRION
The project addresses the challenges of enhancing level of uniformity, homogeneity, and similarity of existing Civil Protection (CP) Early Warning, efficiently integrating them to predict risks, present alert levels, and improve exchange of information with EU CP Mechanism.

nIoVe project is making a step-change in Europe in bringing down the number of fatalities, reducing harmful emissions from transport work and reducing congestion within urban environments. The aim of nIoVe is to detect cyber-attacks in realtime while simultaneously preventing them. Regarding the automotive market, nIoVe purpose to uptake the innovative cybersecurity solutions for the protection of all CAVs and infrastructure in the IoV network against complex cyber-attacks.

Capture Reconstruct Play - is a name that combines the core elements of the CR-Play project. The key idea is to create content (semi-)automatically, simply by using photographs or video, building on the emerging image based technology. Game developers will be able to capture and reconstruct houses, buildings, trees, cars and other real life elements by first simply taking a few sequences of photos and videos which will then be processed by the semi-automatic software created in the project. In CR-PLAY, we will expand and adapt technologies based on Image Based Modelling and Rendering (IBR) and Video Based Modelling and Rendering (VBR) which will serve as backbone technologies for the project.

TOPSA is an effort made by private and public sector to achieve social inclusion of unemployed individuals and young scientists. The main objective of TOPSA is to support people of the aforementioned groups to acquire competitive skills and knowledge, network, and get informed about the market needs. Being a main partner, Technical Chamber of Greece / Regional Department of Western Greece organized a series of seminars, developed educational units, and delivered specialized technical reports to help unemployed individuals and young scientists to acquire the desired expertise.

ERMIS (Extensible pRoduct Monitoring by Indexing Social sources) system aggregates unstructured and semi-structured data from different web sources, processes them, and extracts knowledge by semantically annotating the useful and meaningful information. The knowledge base that is created through this process is a tool for supporting business decision making about a product or a service. ERMIS helps business managers to make better decisions through an intelligent and automatic process based on the analysis of large amount of unstructured data.
